"Following a recent return to work, after a three year break, I found the work after kids website very helpful and completely user friendly.

As a registered nurse, I wanted to return to my previous job as a community mental health nurse, before I was required to do a return to nursing course. The process of applying for my line of work was straight forward, but I needed assistance with childcare issues.

The section on finding the right childcare was really useful and prompted us to get a childminder in our local area, which has worked out great for us, as it offers more flexibility.

We were also able to better understand the tax credit system and have made great use of the extra help we get from qualifying for tax credit. Before reading the information on the website we assumed we were not eligible.
