Paul Lewis and guests answered your questions about rights at work on Wednesday's programme.
It is 40 years since the Equal Pay Act was passed, to prevent discrimination between men and women in terms of pay and conditions of employment.
Yet the Fawcett Society say that today, women working full-time, earn on average 17% less per hour than men working full-time.
The gap rises to 20% for ethnic minority women and 36% per hour for women working part-time.
