Take heart, most employees don't need a CV as many employers supply an application form that is tailored to their requirements.

But, it is handy to have and maintain a CV so you can refer back to past employment, dates, school exams, relevant experience, vocational certificates, etc, so that when it comes to filling out those applications you have all the information to hand. When you gain a new qualification or skill, just top up your CV!

It is quite possbile to draw up your own CV in a format that will be acceptable to most employers. Simply entering 'cv template' in your search engine will bring up many free to use examples.
